We work with vetted suppliers who provide ethically gathered, cuticle-intact human hair. Every shipment is traceable to its origin. We don’t blend, we don’t substitute, and we don’t sell what we wouldn’t wear ourselves.

Yes. Our extensions are made from 100% human Remy hair, meaning the cuticles are intact and aligned in the same direction. This is what allows the hair to lay smoothly, blend invisibly, and last through wash after wash without matting or tangling.

Yes. Because our hair is Remy and cuticle-intact, it accepts color the same way your natural hair does. We recommend having any coloring or toning done by a licensed stylist familiar with extensions — particularly if going lighter.

You can also use heat tools (curling irons, flat irons, blow dryers) as you would with your own hair. Always use a heat protectant and stay under 350°F to preserve quality.

A Half Install Pack is designed for partial installs — adding length, volume, or a touch of dimension. A Full Install Pack provides the hair needed for a complete head of extensions. Your stylist can help determine which is right for your hair type and desired look.

The Signature Collection is our curated lineup of 13 in-stock shades, ready to ship in 1–2 business days.

The Archive Collection is a wider selection of shades fulfilled directly from our supplier. Same quality, same craftsmanship, with a slightly longer turnaround (typically within 7 days).

Signature Collection orders are processed within 1–2 business days and ship via your selected shipping method at checkout. Archive Collection orders ship within 7 business days.

Not yet. We currently ship to all 50 US states, including Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories. International expansion is on the horizon.

We do not ship to PO Boxes. A physical street address is required at checkout.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update with the carrier.

We accept returns on unopened, unused hair extensions within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in original, sealed packaging with all hang tags and inserts.

You may choose a full refund, an exchange for a different shade or length, or store credit valid for 12 months. Full details on our Returns & Exchanges page.

Contact us at hello@seamandstrand.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description. We will replace defective items at no cost to you, including return shipping.
