Strand Collective Program Terms

The Strand Collective is Seam & Strand's program for licensed hair professionals. These terms explain who qualifies, how professional pricing works, and the current offers for stylists and salons.

Who qualifies

The Strand Collective is open to licensed cosmetologists and hairstylists. A current, active license is required, and every application is verified before access is granted.

How approval works

Submit the Strand Collective application with your license information.
We verify your license, typically within 1 business day.
Once you're approved, professional pricing is turned on for your account and you'll get an email confirmation.

Professional pricing is tied to your Seam & Strand account. Log in to see professional pricing when you shop.

Professional pricing

Professional pricing applies to the Seamless Weft collection, Butterfly Wefts, and K-Tips. Other products, including the color ring, are sold at standard prices.

Seam Academy

Approved Strand Collective members have access to Seam Academy, our business education for extension stylists.

Stylist Intro: Color Ring + $50 Credit

Purchase the Seam & Strand color ring for $99.
You'll receive a $50 credit toward your next hair order of $300 or more.
The credit is sent by email as a unique code and expires 45 days after it's issued.
One credit per stylist. The credit has no cash value, can't be transferred, and can be used with professional pricing.

Salon Intro: $750+ Opening Order

Place an opening salon order of $750 or more in hair.
Your order includes a complimentary color ring and professional toolkit, plus ongoing support from Seam & Strand: personal follow-up after your order and answers to your questions as you introduce extensions to your clients.
The professional toolkit includes hair extension pliers, micro ring pliers, a micro link loop hook, a sectioning comb, professional sectioning clips, alligator sectioning clips, hair extension threading needles, thread shears, micro links, and thread.
Opening orders are built with Seam & Strand after you submit a salon inquiry. The $750 minimum applies to a single order.

Returns

Returns and exchanges follow the Seam & Strand Return & Exchange Policy. Complimentary items included with an opening order are not eligible for return or cash value.

Changes to the program

Seam & Strand may change, pause, or end the Strand Collective, its pricing, or any offer at any time. Offers active at the time of your purchase will be honored as stated.
