The Strand Collective is our community of professional stylists. We hand-select members based on craft, professionalism, and alignment with how we build the brand. Applications are open to qualified stylists, and every one is reviewed personally. Acceptance is not guaranteed.
If you're accepted, you'll receive a personal discount code that gives your clients 10% off premium, single-donor, double-drawn Russian/Slavic hair, along with early access to the line and a direct line to the founder — 26 years behind the chair. And as we grow, Collective members will be the first invited into our commission program. We'd be honored to consider you.

Who can apply to The Strand Collective?
Licensed cosmetologists in the United States with a valid, current cosmetology license. Cosmetology students with a valid student ID may also be considered. Acceptance is at our sole discretion based on craft, professionalism, and brand alignment.
How does the discount code work?
Once accepted, you'll receive a personal discount code. When your clients use it at checkout, they receive 10% off their order. It's a simple way to offer your clients premium hair at a thoughtful price — and to track the clients you send our way.
What makes Seam & Strand hair different?
Every weft is 100% Russian/Slavic hair — single donor and double drawn. Single donor means all the hair comes from one person, so the cuticle runs in one direction and it behaves like one head of hair. Double drawn means the strands are sorted to nearly the same length, so the ends stay thick and full instead of thin and wispy. It's the quality we'd want on our own clients.
Is there a commission program?
A commission program is on the way. As we grow, Collective members will be the first invited to earn on every recommendation. Joining now means you'll be first in line when it opens — we're building it the right way, and our earliest stylists come first.
What's expected of me as a member?
Represent Seam & Strand with the same professionalism and honesty you bring to your own clients, maintain a valid cosmetology license, and use our brand assets as provided. That's it — we keep it simple and built on trust.
What happens after I submit my application?
You'll receive a confirmation email immediately. Within 7 business days, we'll send you a decision. If accepted, you'll receive a welcome note with your personal discount code, brand assets, and everything you need to start offering Seam & Strand to your clients. We do our best to respond to everyone.
